Interface: GraphTraceHive

Options of arrangement: 'hive'. A link between two nodes of one axis is not drawn: a hive plot shows what goes on between the axes.

Properties

PropertyTypeDefault valueDescription
assign?"degree" | "direction""degree"How nodes without groups get their axis. 'degree': sorted by their number of links and cut into axes equal parts. 'direction': three axes, for the nodes that only have outgoing links, those in between, and those that only have incoming links.
axes?number3Number of axes when the nodes have no groups (with node.group there is one axis per group, with the group's name at its end) and assign is 'degree'. Range: 1 – 360
innerradius?number40Distance from the center to the first node of an axis, in layout units. Minimum: 0
outerradius?number300Distance from the center to the last node of an axis, in layout units. Minimum: 0
position?"value" | "degree""degree"What places a node along its axis: its rank by number of links among the nodes of the axis ('degree', the least linked nearest the center) or node.value, on one scale for all axes.
startangle?number90Angle of the first axis in degrees, counter-clockwise from 3 o'clock. The others follow counter-clockwise, evenly spaced.
