Type Aliases

Type Alias	Description
BoxTrace	Box plot: quartiles, median, whiskers and outliers of samples (or of precomputed statistics) at each position.
Histogram2dcontourTrace	2D density contours: samples binned along x and y like histogram2d, drawn as contour levels (filled bands, a heatmap, or lines) with optional level labels.
Histogram2dTrace	2D histogram: samples binned along x and y, counted (or aggregated) per cell and drawn as a heatmap.
HistogramTrace	Histogram: samples binned into bars (counts, sums, averages…), vertical or horizontal, stacking and grouping with bars.
ParcatsTrace	Parallel categories: one column of category bands per dimension, with paths across them sized by the number of samples; drag categories and dimensions to reorder them.
ParcoordsTrace	Parallel coordinates: one vertical axis per dimension and one line per row across them, colored by line.color; brush the axes to filter lines and drag the labels to reorder them.
SplomTrace	Scatter plot matrix: every pair of dimensions as a scatter plot, one cell per pair, with linked selection across cells.
StripData	Rows ([{ day, bill }, …]) or columns ({ day: [...], bill: [...] }).
TracesStats	Any trace of @mk7s/holochart-traces-stats, discriminated on type. Type a partial bundle's figures with it: FigureInput<TracesStats>.
ViolinTrace	Violin plot: a kernel density estimate of samples at each position, mirrored (or one-sided), with an optional inner box plot, mean line and points.

Description

strip

Build a strip plot figure from a table, like plotly.py's px.strip: box traces with boxpoints: 'all', pointpos: 0, hoveron: 'points', a transparent fill and no outline, one per color group (with offsetgroup = the group, so boxmode: 'group' sets them side by side). Differences from px: the outline is removed with line.width: 0 rather than a transparent line color (so the points keep the trace color from the colorway), and jitter is an option.
